Hey there people !
Lately, well...Not only lately, even longer before, I saw some people referencing heavily and/or copying my works, mainly the Kung Fu Panda related ones. And I must say, I'm getting seriously tired of this.
I have been wanting to put the KFP stuff in Storage for a while now, but I haven't yet only because I like these pictures and the characters created, as they were all a lot of work but also a lot of fun to make. However, seeing how some people think it's "okay" to just go around copy a design without crediting where the inspiration/reference came from...I've just been wanting to hide it from public view.
But I'll just say this ; If you ARE referencing my work/design/whatever that belongs to me, credit is due whether you like it or not. Now, this only addresses to people who are doing it, but it needs to be said, and this just serves as a "keep it in mind please" thingy for the rest I suppose.
I know of at least two people already who have copied Youhei HuoYan's design, perhaps not completely, but the similarities are too big to ignore. One even made it a mix of Youhei's and Yuan's tail feathers...
Sadly I cannot remember the others, yet I know there are more than two. Be it in the past or present.

Just because I do not draw KFP much lately does not mean it is okay to do such things.
The designs are heavily referenced, which screams : "Credit is due"
I'm not even asking to take them down, but crediting me is not gonna kill anyone.
And if you're just too proud to admit that it was referenced, then I guess it'll have to be more trouble than it should be.
Besides, how would you react if someone did that to you ?
Anyway...I will send notes to those people, shortly. Similarities happen, it's a vast world and people can have similar ideas, that I know, but in this case things are just too obvious.
